About Me
Hello, and welcome to Heart in the Highlands Nursing Services.
My name is Nicole, and I am a Registered Practical Nurse who has proudly served the Haliburton community for more than six years. Throughout my nursing career, I have worked in a variety of healthcare settings including long-term care, hospital care, and community nursing. These experiences have allowed me to support individuals with a wide range of health needs while developing a particular passion for caring for seniors and individuals living with dementia.
As a community nurse, I have had the privilege of providing care in clients’ homes, helping them maintain their independence and quality of life while navigating illness, aging, and changing health needs. I understand that every person and family is unique, and I believe care should be tailored to meet their individual goals, preferences, and circumstances.
Outside of nursing, I am proud to call Haliburton County home. As a wife, mother, and member of this community, I understand the importance of compassionate, reliable support close to home. My goal is to provide the kind of care I would want for my own family members: professional, respectful, and delivered with genuine kindness.
For your peace of mind, I am a member in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario. Heart in the Highlands Nursing Services carries professional liability insurance, and I maintain a current, clear Vulnerable Sector Check.
I look forward to the opportunity to support you and your loved ones.
