Rates

All services are billed at $50 per hour. Visits are personalized to meet your family’s unique needs, whether you require a brief wellness check, ongoing support, or a longer respite visit.

There is no long-term commitment. Whether you need support for a single visit or ongoing care, services can be tailored to your family’s changing needs.

Travel within 30 km of Haliburton is included in the hourly rate. A small travel fee may apply for visits beyond this distance.

Overnight respite care and certain specialized nursing services may require an individualized quote based on the client’s specific needs and circumstances.

Service Policies

Payment is due at the time of service unless alternative arrangements have been made in advance.

Payment may be made by e-transfer, cash, debit, or credit.

To help ensure appointment availability for all clients, a minimum of 24 hours’ notice is requested for cancellations or schedule changes. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice may be subject to a fee equal to 50% of the scheduled visit cost. Missed appointments or no-shows may be charged the full scheduled visit fee.

Cancellation fees may be waived in cases of medical emergencies, hospitalization, severe weather, or other unforeseen circumstances at the discretion of Heart in the Highlands Nursing Services.

A signed service agreement will be completed before services begin. This agreement outlines rates, payment terms, services provided, and other important policies to ensure expectations are clear for everyone involved.
